While the on location photo shoots were the best, the fun was amplified with a variety of good restaurants (and chocolate cake!), great hotels, and outstanding company.
Overall, Vieri and Zeynep orchestrated an extremely well planned, world’s best workshop experience!
During the 15 years I dedicated to photographing landscapes all over the world, I was seldom as impressed as I have been by the Oregon Coast and its unique seascapes. Beach after beach, cove after cove, cliff after cliff you are met by a never-ending showcase of incredible sea stacks, arches and rock formations, ready to offer you enough inspiration to last for a lifetime. In 2023 I dedicated one and half month non-stop to the Oregon Coast, working both on photographing its unmissable iconic locations and on exploring it out of the beaten track, as I always do, to find those beautiful, unspoiled spots that I love to photograph for my personal work and that make our Workshops unique.
After running 1 Workshops on The Oregon Coast, in 2025 we retired this Workshop to dedicate our energies to exploring and adding new amazing destinations and locations.
Designing your The Oregon Coast Photography Workshop, leveraging on over a decade of experience leading more than 110 Workshops, one of which on the Oregon Coast, I personally selected and curated a fully comprehensive Portfolio of locations featuring the best natural locations, including sea stacks, sea arches, sandy beaches and bizarre rock formations, mixing them with man-made ones such as bridges, lighthouses, shipwrecks and more, for a uniquely rewarding photographic experience.
The weather is always unpredictable – their unrivalled knowledge of the locations make that I trust Vieri and Zeynep 200% when they say: “let’s wait here 20 minutes”. Rest assured… an amazing sunset is about to happen!

Vieri Bottazzini is an acclaimed Italian Fine Art landscape photographer, writer and educator, with a personal style rooted in pure photographic craftsmanship. Passionate about the outdoors, Vieri believes in honouring the majestic power of our planet’s beauty by creating his iconic images using unadulterated photography only. Through his unique black & white and subtly post-processed colour images, Vieri tells stories about the relationship between nature and mankind, exploring the concepts of time and of the surreal.

A passionate teacher with over 30 years of experience, Vieri leads truly limited attendance 3-people Workshops in places like Iceland, The Faroe Islands, Scotland, Ireland, England, the USA, Italy, France and Spain, where he fully shares his knowledge and his artistry with his Alumni. Vieri’s diverse and vast Portfolio is the culmination of over 15 years of passion, love and craftsmanship, of months spent on the road every year, of hundreds of kilometres of hikes and most of all, of a lifetime’s devotion to the arts.
