Vieri and Zeynep are fantastic! A couple in life as well as in the field, they are easy-going and very professional. On Skye we were a small group, and we could see the most beautiful and interesting places. Vieri’s availability (and patience) in the field are limitless; the organisation was very good. Before every session, Vieri heads a short briefing with many suggestions to be able to work the location at best. Many suggestions, but not too many: Vieri’s ability is exactly this, to let your images being your own anyhow! I am looking forward to the next Workshop! Thank you Vieri and Zeynep!
I have been exploring and photographing the Isle of Skye for over 15 years now, going back every year since my first visit in 2009. Over the years, I have never ceased of being surprised by the wealth of inspiration offered by the Isle’s landscapes. With its abundance of iconic locations paired with hidden, incredibly inspiring ones, from grand vistas to minimalism, the Isle of Skye has it all. Its powerful, moody and ancestral-looking landscapes instantly felt like a home of the soul to me, I fell in love with the stark, austere and moody beauty of the Isle of Skye on my first visit and no matter how many times I have been there, every time I go back, I find new inspirations and shooting locations!
Designing your Isle of Skye Residency, leveraging on over a decade of experience leading more than 110 Workshops, 14 of which on the Isle of Skye so far, I created a completely new, “vertical” Workshop concept covering everything you will need to know, from photographing iconic locations in a personal way to finding and developing your own, from working in the field to editing and processing your photographs, to creating a Portfolio.
All our years of experience exploring the Isle of Skye make sure that we have more locations on Skye than any other Workshop, all personally selected and curated by me, which we will have the time to revisit as much as needed to help you create a strong, original Portfolio showcasing your vision of these inspiring Scottish landscapes in the best possible way.

This was my first workshop with Vieri and it was an eye-opening experience. I clearly remember the moment I took my first 4 minute long exposure under a capricious weather on the shores of Elgol and that feeling of accomplishment which came together with the result. I’ve applied the techniques learned from him many times since and they remain essential to the way I approach photography in the field.
